weed carnage

I’ve done as much as I can.  My back is aching and I’m covered with scratches.  I’m retreating to fight another day.  It was almost three hours by the man & I, trying to reclaim the front garden from the matt of grass and drifted debris.  The planted bit looks a bit barren now, with the bleeding heart propped up and big swatches of dirt.  I think our ginger tom is also irritated that I’ve dug up his little nest in the grass.  The rose now has a trellis and we have two huge bags if weeds.

At least I wasn’t felled by a snail like Moose…
